I was pumping gas yesterday and was starring at the digital display as the money racked up. After about 15 minutes, the display read $87.59. As I tried to get the number to $100.00 I started to smell the fumes of the gasoline as the liquid was leaking out of the tank, i was actually amazed that it had reach the 80 dollar mark .... $80 dollars to fill up my tank i said to myself....geezzz

Wow, where will it stop .... imagine if we could start an affiliate program with the gasoline business. Talk about a consumable product that everyone needs? We could really rack up the commissions ... LOL ... not...

Here is south Florida, premium is going for $4.09 a gallon already. What are the gasoline prices in your area?

New Tax Law, what do you think?

Not sure how you feel about this new tax law in NYC, they are going after Amazon today and Texas is already thinking about it: http://www.news.com/8301-10784_3-9942692-7.html

We are closely monitoring the situation and advising our merchants against any knee jerk reaction like removing all affiliates from NYC. Some of our merchants have already asked us for affiliate addresses and locations so they can start planning. Where do the network's responsibility lie here?

We are advising them to start thinking about modifying their carts so they can be ready when the day comes that every state may go the NYC path.

ARC Moving Full Steam Ahead

Today we had numerous projects to finish. One project was allowing me to Blog on Blogger. This was a mission in itself, but as you can see we're doing good today. For some odd reason I couldnt Blog eventhough Andy had given me access.

Today we did numerous posts on OneWayFurniture and CD Wow our new Buy.at Merchant. Everything seems to be going well and as I mentioned on my subject line, were moving full steam ahead!

Affiliate Marketing Dinner

Hello again,

On Friday March 2,2007, ARC and huge gang of Affiliate Marketing professionals attended an Affiliate Marketing Dinner at Brickell's Perricones restaurant. I went with my partner Andy. We ate calamary, a Brie cheese appetizer that was to die for and had We had a great time. We talked to friends in the industry and really enjoyed each others company.

In the past year, I've really grown to appreciate the many wonderful realtionships I've made through simply meeting, greeting and eating with others. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful gruop of people surrounding me.

February is here!

Good morning everyone, here we are February 1, 2007. The month of January has gone so fast it seems like a blur, where have the weeks gone. The whole month I have been sitting here in my office looking at my 25 for ProLine sitting on the trailer outside my office window. It's been too windy to go out on the water. I guess it's not a bad thing we have brought on board three new merchants and are in the process of having their affiliate programs launched. Hopefully the winds will start to die down now in February and we can have some time on the water.

Speaking of these three new merchant the first one we like to introduce his Holmesstamp.com. This is a 50-year-old family stamp business based out of Jacksonville, Florida the program is on shareasale, and we are fine-tuning adding more creative and tweaking the website to increase conversions. You can join the program on my signature link on ABestWeb. The owner is very cool and very affiliate friendly.

The second merchant that we're launching soon is onewayfurniture.com. This merchant was listed number 35 in the Inc.com online magazines fastest growing online retailers four 2006. We are setting up a program on shareasale as we speak, setting up the creatives and getting the program ready for launch. The online furniture vertical has become very popular in the last several years for online shoppers. Today you can shop and furnish your entire home from the comfort of your keyboard and a mouse. We are really excited to be managing the onewayfurniture.com affiliate program.

The third merchant that we are launching is a UK-based merchant that is expanding into the US. We will have more news on the new UK merchant, ARC expansion and what it means to affiliates within the US. More news to follow soon ...

January has flown by

Okay here I am on a Monday, January 29, just got back from affiliatesummit in Las Vegas last week and now it's when I'm finally caught up with all the e-mails and all the work that was missed while I was in Vegas.

This affiliatesummit by far was the best one that I have attended, the networking was superb, new friendships or developed, existing relationships got closer. We are already making plans for affiliatesummit east that is going to be held in Miami in the month of July, make sure you make plans to be here.

While in Vegas my interest in blogging has been renewed, I know I have said this before but we are going to try again and post more frequently in an effort to get this blog on the affiliate marketing radar. At ARC we have lots of stuff going on, new merchants coming on board an exciting new partnerships being developed. Stay tuned for more details soon.
